Beautiful circa 1920's antique jade and sterling brooch featuring a lovely oval cabochon of mottled green jade with delicate hand carving and piercing depicting a traditional floral design.This fabulous jade cabochon is mounted into a detailed rectangular sterling silver setting. During the 1920's Chinese design was all the rage in the west and carved jade in traditional asian motifs were particularly popular. Marked sterling on back. 1 1/4" by 3/4". In fine antique condition. A gorgeous little piece of art.
